Nucletron chooses ICT Embedded as preferred supplier
06/01/2005
Nucletron B.V. and ICT Embedded have signed an agreement with respect to the deployment of temporary staff to support Nucletron’s R&D department with ICT’s know-how and expertise.
Nucletron has chosen ICT as preferred supplier. "In addition to know-how and expertise, a knowledge-intensive company like Nucletron also sees involvement and sustainability as enormously important. By choosing ICT we are confident that we have found a good match ", said Roel van der Poort (HR Manager) of Nucletron.
Cees Dekker (Purchasing Nucletron) said: "We expect ICT to make a rapid contribution to the applications to be developed by Nucletron. By contracting a preferred supplier, we will also be able to optimise purchasing conditions, among other things, and establish a relationship of mutual trust, which will in turn enable ICT to meet our requirements even more effectively”.
With the addition of Nucletron to its client list, ICT Embedded has further expanded its activities in the medical sector. While the company was initially active on behalf of suppliers of medical diagnostic equipment, we have now expanded to suppliers of medical treatment systems. ICT is now also active in the field of medical IT. Combining this know-how in ICT Solutions creates a very good mix of system expertise, sector expertise and IT expertise. "We are proud that a market leader like Nucletron has chosen ICT," said Bram Schot, director of ICT Automatisering. "Nucletron is a wonderful addition to our existing clients in the medical sector."
"Our focus on the medical sector and the many years of experience we have built up in this sector makes ICT a very attractive partner for OEM companies that develop medical products and applications," said Johan Timmermans, Account Manager for the medical sector at ICT and as such the contact person for Nucletron. He added: "ICT is deliberately developing a number of specialisations in the medical sector, in order to further accelerate the projects at our clients. These include our activities in the context of IHE, DICOM and HL7". Our clients see the added value of this.
This press release was drawn up in consultation with Nucletron.
