Core values
ICT’s values are based on beliefs that have to do with professional excellence and healthy operational management. These values can be summarized as:
- Entrepreneurship
- Commitment
- Independence
- Responsibility
- Cooperation
Entrepreneurship
ICT is a commercial, publicly listed software company with a reputation as a reliable, solid, and technologically innovative company. This reputation is built on entrepreneurship at all levels of the organization.
Entrepreneurship means delivering high-quality work, leading to long-term client relationships. As an ambassador of ICT, you represent our company. Entrepreneurship also means working together passionately and proudly to make things better. In all the investments we make and the risks we take, we always look carefully at the balance between short-term and long-term interests.
Commitment
ICT is a medium-sized company with short lines of communication and an informal culture, in which employees quickly feel at home. Within ICT, there is ample opportunity for bottom-up as well as top-down communication, aimed at creating a sense of mutual involvement.
Within this framework, you will be expected to contribute to the development of ICT technologically as well as commercially. Developments at ICT are reported and communicated transparently and with respect for each other, thereby allowing you to work out your ambitions in line with ICT within the framework of your own talents and possibilities and to develop a sense of confidence with regard to the future.
Independence
At ICT, we value employees who can think and work independently and who can make a contribution to clients as well as within ICT in a creative and proactive fashion. Employees are expected to realize and decide for themselves when they need to coordinate matters and report on developments.
In this regard, it is very important for you to be able to determine priorities yourself and to make a positive contribution to the development of ICT on the basis of your own views and opinions. Employees who not only do exactly what is asked of them and do not continually ask for permission from the client or their supervisor differentiate themselves in a positive sense.
Responsibility
Taking responsibility for your actions is based on the realization that you make the difference between providing a product that is simply adequate and one that is of high quality. This is true regardless of whether it relates to your own personal development or your work for a particular client. At ICT, our work is based on the assumption that every individual strives to provide this quality at his or her own level of activity.
Ongoing focus and investment are needed to ensure that we can continue to provide this high level of quality. This also means that you have the discipline to do what is necessary to provide that quality. In return, you can expect and count on ICT to create an environment which supports you wherever necessary and helps you to fulfil your responsibility.
Cooperation
At ICT, you are never alone. We make a habit of working together proactively to realize shared goals. In doing so, all our actions are based on respect for each other.
The principle of “what goes around comes around” plays an important role in this regard. Even when there is no direct personal interest involved, we are ready and willing to be of assistance, in the knowledge that if the shoe were on the other foot, others would be ready and willing to help us as well.
